Looking for ways to honor those who are near and dear to your heart? Me too.  I started my company, PHINE & Whimsey, ten years ago as a gift boutique, in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia.  Oh, what fun I have had finding the latest and greatest gifts for all gift giving occasions! Along the way, I have met some of the warmest, and loveliest families that live in the area.  Many are considered friends and I am blessed to have some great conversations with these gracious and sophisticated shoppers.  And I have found great joy in helping them find gifts that reflect their affection for their family and friends.  Gift giving should be fun and finding the perfect gift just feels good!  I have seen their families grow and expand and have enjoyed having my family involved in PHINE & Whimsey too.  My children have grown up working and shopping for the store and, I hope, learned some things about business and caring for people along the way. Now, they are off making their own worlds and I am so proud of them!

In November of 2009, I closed my storefront and have moved online with some of my favorite gift and jewelry lines from the store.   I miss the day to day interactions with customers and friends, but hope that I can continue to offer ways to celebrate life’s occasions online.  So, now the shift continues, the blogging begins and my expansion into the greater world of gifting, e-commerce style unfolds.
